I wasn’t stating my preference. I was merely commenting on the difference in hue and the fact that Speed is a more popular color among the Porsche community than Racing. Been discussed many times on RL and Speed is clearly more popular. Probably why it’s a $13k option.
Anyway, all yellows welcome and are great. I had a Millennium Yellow Z06 for a dozen years and loved it...very close to SY.

I'd love to see a night photo of the yellow sport chrono clock. I like both of those yellows, a bit more egg yolk in the speed yellow.

Thanks! Here is the build details: http://www.porsche-code.com/PMII7AA6
Good questions! Like many spent quite a bit on the configurator and several in person sit downs at the local dealership as not everything on the website is accurate or clear.
Our goal was to build something that was visually striking and said, let’s go have fun. Also wanted to max out the interior leather/stitching to create a specific textual sensation.
Gauge faces, love them! IMO, just need sufficient contrast to see needle position sweeping toward 8000. Plenty of contrast for that, at night the faces are dark and no hint of yellow so look like any other gauge face. The SC does stay a glowing yellow...think that is cool also.
Washed my wheels yesterday; ughhh perhaps some black caliper PCCB would have been better; but of course that is a steep bill that for me is driven by cleanliness.
I knew going in there’d be no comfort access or seat memory but got the 18 ways anyway. Just to be aware of; it’s ok and wouldn’t change. Wanted the deviated backs and had buckets last time.
Here is something that does bother me...the visors! They are cheap, cheap, cheap. The decals are like right in my face. I debated the Alcantara ones, but decided no. Think it’s a $500 or so option, be advised on suncoast they’re like 1300 but you can get them wo stickers. Of course the upgraded alcantara ones would have decals also and unsure they can be removed as cleanly as the plastic standard visors. Probably will just remove the decals and live with the plastic ones. Local shop can redo with leather or alcantara with matched deviated for around $700.
Skipped NAV for first time in last half dozen new car purchases. Don’t miss it and love Carplay. Had it in my last car and never used it...it’s great happy I dumped NAV. You do lose some track functionality wo NAV.
Happy with Bose. There is no way the BM system makes sense...noise levels in the cockpit negate this upgrade. This was before GPF delete pipe lol..
Bottomline, no regrets! Can’t tell you how special the interior feels for me.
Feel free to shout back or request pics. Happy to help.

I really liked the yellow S2000 I had few years ago and am looking forward to getting a yellow Spyder. Dealer expects to get an allocation in the next week or two, so I still have a little time to decide how much yellow I want in the interior.

OK, here are some photos taken at 5PM in the garage. It’s still pretty light out and in general think the camera is pushing the exposure...I don’t perceive the SC to be as bright as depicted.
The lighting is adjustable. First couple at 100% and last at 30%.
Personally like the warm yellow face at night...like a little campfire.
