He works for a different dealer now. Can you elaborate on why you're recommending him?

Wow, it seems everything has changed now. I was contacted by 3 dealerships offering Spyder allocations at MSRP just 3 months ago. 2 reached out to me within 24 hrs. I’m not a high roller or frequent purchaser. Last car was a new 997.2 , during similar market conditions in 2009.
Now there are long waiting lists and ADMs again?
These are not limited production. Many show up on Autotrader from time to time at sticker.
Refuse ADMs !

Just checked, still available, store is p of princeton, but I wouldn’t recommend doing business with this guy

If you don't mind me asking, why is Porsche RWC so bad? I'm a first-time Porsche buyer and we have a 2020 Cayenne allocation there slated for September delivery. We got a great deal there but now I'm getting rather concerned reading this thread (looking into the GT4/Spyder possibly too)!

Perhaps your experience with them (and ordering a Cayenne) is different, but Carlsen Porsche (aka RWC) have had a *terrible* reputation with Bay Area RLer's for literally decades, they consistently apply 'serious' ADM to limited production vehicles such as GT cars ... go take a look in pretty much any GT forum here and search for Carlsen... YMMV

They have a lowest reputation of all S.F BA dealers ... and I think its not just me saying this ...

Thank you for the explanation and response! That makes sense that my experience was probably different due to ordering a Cayenne and not a GT car. I'll definitely have to keep an eye out in the future when dealing with them if we do decide to get a GT as well.

By the way, what's BA stand for?

Spyder at Loeber. Was getting an update on my GT4 build and update today, and he mentioned he has a Boxster Sypder. PM me for Tony Taylor's cell, or call Loeber in Lincolnwood Illinois and ask for him. Super easy guy to work with.

GT4/Spyder..NO REASON to pay an ADM. Aside from Porsche saying anyone who wants one can get one, we have at present many Covid-19 orphan builds floating around. Abandoned builds from clients whose situation has unfortunately changed. You have to call around as not all are advertised online.

Now the upcoming RS model..that’s a different story.
