Thank you Westcoast for asking!
I’ve only had it out 4x for a total of 80 miles. My PPF appointment is scheduled for Aug 17th. I tried (unsuccessfully) to install the Expel Tracerap so I figured I could wait for another week so I don’t have to worry about stone chips. Couple observations in those short drives:
Car is amazing! Looks amazing, drives amazing. Waiting to get it opened up to hear it roar!
its so LOW! I’ve managed to scrape it 4 times. No matter how slow and at an angle the front lip is bound to scrape. 3 driveways. Entering/exiting driveways, once on a city street All were at slow speed and an angle.
After PPF is complete we plan to head up PCH Highway 1 toward Carmel for a few days. I figured that would be a good road trip to add to the breakin miles.
I’ll share some photos once we get it out.

Good plan about the PPF, you only get one chance to get it right and that is immediately after delivery, mine visited Cars N Coffee the day after picking it up then directly over to the installer for a complete Xpel Ultimate wrap and Ceramic top coat. Still need to do the windshield.
I am having a blast, I loved my GTS but the Spyder is on a different level.

^ I didn't plan on doing the windshield. But after a few small pits driving in the canyons. I'm going to add it when I get my PPF done for the 2nd time.
Anyone on the fence about the windshield. I would say its a must.

Looking forward to the pictures, you live in a great place for road trips, we were in San Diego in early March just before they closed the international borders, even in the rental car I was sure I was going be picking up front pieces!

These were photos that the transport company took before loading the car up on its way to me. Just a few more days before it’s in my hands! It’s the standard white.

Beautiful pics! Guys, can you please note with your pics whether your car is White or CWM? Also, how you chose one over the other?
