She finally arrived on Saturday, 7/18. Managed to put almost 500 miles on the odometer by Sunday night.
Initial impressions:
1. She's stunning; a real head-turner!
2. She's noisy, especially the engine and the brakes (steel rotors squeak; more noticeable with the top down)
3. The Burmester is my favorite option; turn up the volume to drown out the engine drone when you inevitably have to drive down a multi-lane highway at 3000 rpm
4. The dashboard trim package in leather is my least favorite option; you get very little for your $1610

Regarding your comments, I have some seat time in my buddies GT4 with iron brakes, yep his squeak too. My SA tried to convince me to get the dashboard trim in leather, I didn't see the value either, and I was warned that bright/contrasting deviated stitching showed up as a distracting reflection in the windshield.

Thanks!
Yes, its CWM, and has a nice subtle sparkle and creaminess to it. I was torn between CWM and Chalk. If this wasn't my first Porsche I might have been bolder and selected Chalk.
The stitching by the windscreen didn't distract me on my first couple of drives, but it's probably accentuated in certain lighting conditions. My SA didn't try to push this one on me (wheel & tire insurance on the other hand...)
I went with silver stitching. I'll get some pictures mid-week, but in the meantime Janko has a clip of it in this video (go to about 8:55):

Very nice, congrats!

I'm very pleased with the car. It's so well balanced and nimble. Considerable power increase over 981 GT4, which I previously had. In terms of driver engagement, I think it beats my gt3 pdk in the smiles per miles department, especially with it being a Spyder. It's a mini-speedster for a 1/3 of the price that you can actually drive on the street. Pretty basic build, nothing too crazy. Perfect addition to GT3 PDK. Will post more pics later. It's going to be PPF'd and coated next week. Keeping it under 5k but it's tough. Will likely add Fabspeed exhaust here shortly after break in.

Question about your ppf. Are you doing full body wrap? If so, do you know what the installer's plan is for the 718 Spyder badging on the rear? Will they remove and re-install or go around the badging?

I've never rebadged or had a car rebadged so I guess my main question would be how does the dealer or ppf installer make certain that the 718 spyder badge is perfectly centered when rebadging?

It's done all the time. It's detailed work, the installer can also quite easily make a template before removing and use that to help position on reinstall. Talk to your installer and gauge confidence level. Also, maybe dealers already have templates for the model specific factory badging.....if so, have dealer reinstall badges instead of PPF installer.

Creaminess? interesting. Have you even been able to compare Porsches standard White to Carrara White Metallic in person? I've only ever seen side by side photos and CWM always seems to have an ever so slight blueness to it (but that could just be my computer monitor).

I'm not doing a full body wrap. Front bumper, hood, fenders, side rockers, mirrors.
