The car is a stunner in person.
I was hoping for Michelin's, but I'm sure the Dunlop's will be great.

Very nice, congrats!

FWIW I have Maxx Race 2's on my Spyder, they are incredible!

Beautiful Spec! Love the black calipers. Surprised more classic cars don’t get the red top—stunning!

Give me a shout if you ever come down to run the sisters!

Default My new 718 Spyder

Mine was delivered to my house on Tuesday! I traded my 2014 Ferrari California 30 in on this beauty. With the tax savings it was basically an even swap. The only pressing need for me is exhaust. I've ordered the Soul Performance Race Exhaust. Hopefully that will give me the sound I desire.

So beautiful, I think this would be my build. I think I may go with bucket seats though. Thoughts?

I thought about bucket seats (mainly for the cool factor), but I will drive the car all year long and in the colder months having seat heaters makes for a much more comfortable driving experience. I can share that the 18 way seats in the Spyder are very very comfortable. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I loved the heated seats in my GTS, but there was no way I was going to order the Spyder without LWBS, it is cool/colder here now and I don't seem to miss the heated butt at all.

I am very happy I went this route, they are super comfortable too.

Go to a dealer and sit in the seats, it's really very simple. You can even ask for a test drive to be sure you're right.

Good advice. One caution, though. I tried them for a brief test drive and thought they were fine, except for getting in and out, which I think would be OK once I got the technique down--and I'm nearly 75 years old. But I have read, and a friend warned me, that they can get VERY uncomfortable on long trips, if you intend to use this car that way. On the other hand, the friend who warned me about them on long trips drove in them in a Porsche press pool car from Colorado to LA and said they were pleasantly better than he thought they would be. But he still recommended that I not get them. So I didn't.

God bless,
TT

These look phenomenal. I'm interested in buying the same, but want to make sure I am seeing the same ones on the P1 website. Are these the "911R Agate Grey" color?

That’s nearly identical to mine with the blacked out Porsche logo, the deletion of the rear badge, and the satin wheels. You’re just missing the black door handles (the side markers can be easily changed). You’re only one small detail from perfection! 😊

I was going to say the same thing. Model deleted, blacked out the Porsche logo, platinum wheels. Must be common, since that’s a combination that looks so good with Carrara white. I wonder if this one has LWBS, if so it’s literally exact same spec as me. Where do you get clear side markers typically btw?
