great news! Thank you! Question, since the oem exhaust (muffler portion) is part of the underside aero what are your plans to address that?

No plans. The muffler shape/effect on the aero is rather negligible, the underbody panels and the rear diffuser are doing all the heavy lifting. The GT3 OEM center muffler has a similar design and those has been pulled off and thrown away with no ill effect for street and track use since 2007 with center muffler bypass pipes, the most popular Porsche exhaust mod on GT cars of all time.

So it looks like the rear diffuser can be reinstalled without modifications. Right? Thanks

It is especially tight to the engine and underbody panel on the driver-side (left) and requires some additional revision to clear which we are working on as we speak. The first version of these headers - for those that are antsy to get a set - will have laser cut header flanges to the spec of our prototype. However, we are taking these header flanges a step further and have designed and 3D printed the flanges for these headers to be sent out and cast or CNC machined to eliminate three welds per side. These will take several months to receive back and will from that point be incorporated into the headers. Regardless of which set you receive, the laser cut vs cast flanges will have a negligible effect on performance and they will both come with our Lifetime Warranty for both street and track use. Realistically, the Competition Headers could be available in June.

Hi John...I see you were using a stud/nut kit on those headers. Is this something you plan to offer? I highly recommend changing the stock bolts to a system like this...ask me how I know!

May have been covered earlier somewhere, can some clearly explain the function of different components of exhaust for sale and their prices? Specifically for 718 Spyder.
A summary of the the part , function, price of equipment and installation would be great for us novices to determine if we would like to go in this direction.
Thanks in advance.

That was strictly for fixturing purposes, we haven't offered stud/nut kits for any of our headers across out product line. That said, I know how you know...I've done it on a 987.1 years ago haha. Never had an issue on the newer DFI cars, but I'll keep it in mind to consider!

That has been covered throughout the thread, though we have summarized and accumulated it most accurately on our website product page for the 718 Gt4/Spyder/GTS at the link below. We don't have everything uploaded yet, our marketing guru Mike is working on that as we speak. However, "novices" as you say should rely only so much on typed words, it would be quite beneficial to hop on the phone for a chat to fill in any blanks to ensure you make an educated decision. If you're up for it, give me a shout any time at 4848836197 and I'll personally walk you through the configurations and help point you down the right path to meet your goals.

Received my over axle pipes from @Soul Performance yesterday. Porsche of South Orlando installed for me this morning. Quick and easy install and they told me fitment was perfect. Sound is quite a bit louder, especially when valves open. For sure the valves are more noticeable open to closed with the pipes. Im happy for now, plan to sit back and wait to see what Soul comes up with for rear mufflers. Install pics and quick drive by. More pics on instagram @ryan_dalziel

leaving the dealership earlier.

Friend of mine is the GM so he hooked me up, so dont wanna share prices, but it was a 2 hour charge. I think there prices are very reasonable in general with local Porsche shops though.

Also...not every Porsche dealer is friendly to mods like these. Mine they are OK if you bring the car with mods already installed but they would never do this job.
