Chalk. Here's why, i had 2 build to choose from, a blue/yellow and chalk/red. The gentian blue with yellow ceramic and yellow stitching is amazing, that's what i wanted for colors. So, i let my kids choose, they chose the the chalk, although i didnt car that much for the color, but it had ALL the options i wanted. I asked why, they said everyone has a blue car, its boring, get something different. After 6 weeks of ownership, i am REALLY loving the color, its literally changing colors everyday. The other day on porsche gathering, i parked my car and when i was walking through the lot, i said, wow, who's grey GT4 is that, and ya, guess what, it was mine, it looked so grey, i couldn't believe me eyes. Its a color that keeps getting better and better and its unique. I am not sure, but someone posted that Chalk will become PTS color, but not sure about that. But regardless of that, I would pick chalk all day long.

I was going to to do White with Black Wheels. Then the Stormtrooper jokes started floating around house. I started liking chalk a bit more by the day.

Wow! in this picture is really does look like grey, a beautiful grey at that, I am so happy with the colour I chose!

With my summer wheels and Race 2 tires, I go to get some groceries and turn around and just have to snap a quick picture!

Frank, there are a few things that I would change about my Spyder spec but colour is not one of them, if I were doing it again today Chalk wins hands down!

But if you had white, you could just let your car get filthy then it would look exactly like chalk. After a wash it would look white again so you’d have the best of both worlds. With chalk, before and after a wash it still looks chalk. 😊

I never thought of that, you mean that I could have had both colours without paying the extra charge for Chalk!?

My Carrera White Targa GTS does indeed have a chalk like look after a few days of driving. Makes me want to leave it dirty.

It works best when you have a normal dusting over the car after several dry days. If it’s wet, then the dirt looks all splotchy.

I appreciate all the responses. I’m going to stick with Chalk. I live the color but at times I think “will it age well?”. I also have an Audi SQ5 in Quantum gray.

Took some pictures yesterday. Forgot to put a memory card in my DSLR so I had to take some iPhone pictures.

@David2739 Nice Car you have there congrats! Great the way the setting sun changes the colour of the Chalk paint.

Not a huge black satin wheel fan in general, but have to say, I think it is the best color with Chalk paint. Always looks crisp.

Something is off with the shadows on these pics . . . are they shopped? If so, painting in the shadows via dodge/burn on the ground would make it looks more realistic. There’s nothing wrong with a good composite.

The sun must be very low, spreading the shadows long sideways.
