GB with Bordeaux leather looks hot on those pics and vids. I like the Black/Bordeaux leather option on the gts 4.0 better as the top dash is black and the bottom is red for less windshield reflection. Plus the roof could be red or blue for some interesting combinations.

I was really tempted with the red top but for whatever reason the fabric, though supposedly also Bordeaux red, seemed brighter than the leather. Maybe because it was outside fully exposed, but it just seemed to be too bright a red tint to match the GB and inside red.

I just came back from PPF installer and I snagged a pic of the car! One variable out of the equation is I got the Michelin tires. I was so excited that I forgot to look for the exclusive radiator racing stripes...

Congrats on the new arrival! Now we know the official color of the PCCB's, Microfiber Towel Yellow!

I am leaning towards black/bordeaux on a GB GTS but it is making me nervous. My alternatives would be espresso or agate. With any of those I'll do the backrest shells and dash trim in leather to complete it. I just don't know how much I like the solid color interiors. I have espresso/cognac on the 991 I'm replacing and like having the interior colors broken up.

I think my issue is I like GB and I like black/bordeaux, but I can't decide if it is just too crazy to get together.

Some people don't think the red goes with GB but I think it can work especially since GB is a darker blue. You're basically getting what some people refer to as the Superman look. I think mostly European cars might spec this color combo as I don't think the Superman combo is an American thing.

I think if you like both colors you will like them together. Bordeaux/black is very conservative so adding just a little more aggressive color to the mix like GB should be fine.

God bless,

I appreciate the input confirming I'm not crazy. It will be on a Boxster GTS and I am thinking black calipers and platinum wheels to tone it down (but I like arum) and balance out the bordeaux a bit with the top down. I had a Giulia that was a similar blue with red leather that I loved.

I'd bet you will love it. I even think red (or yellow) calipers would be OK. Silver wheels would be fine, too. They look really sharp with GB. But not sure about Arum...

God bless,
