I do agree with carbon fibre being too glossy. Sometimes it does feel almost fake/plastic-like. I have seen a couple of cars with leather inlays in person but they both had two tone leather interior and it did feel very upscale compared to both carbon fiber and aluminum. Does black leather inlays feel a bit more upscale in your opinion?

I have it on a 911 with Bordeaux and black leather and it looks sensational...the upper part of the dash is black and the lower part, including what would normally be the silver colored trim, is Bordeaux. On a GT4/Spyder, my concerns are that it 1) wouldn't provide a pleasing transition between the leather on the upper part of the dash and the alcantara on the lower part and 2) that it would make the cabin seem too dark. The pictures posted above by tdlondon take care of both of my concerns: it looks terrific!
I saw a GT4 at local dealer today with leather inlays and it does look better in person. Since I already have carbon inlays in my GTS and I am not crazy about it, gonna go with leather inlays. Here is the final build: http://www.porsche-code.com/PMKUFT11

I wonder how you have the sport chrono/prep for lap trigger without the navigation. On my car 2020 MY I think you needed to add navigation to add the sport chrono.

Yeah, we just locked in the build and I was able to add Chrono without Nav. Main reason I added Chrono was for the dash clock. Don't really care about Prep for lap trigger.

I did the leather in my GB Spyder and glad I did you will love your car. Great spec - congrats. .

Congrats!! Looks amazing, another data point confirming GB is the right choice for me. Almost did the same spec but pulled the trigger on the PCCB/Yellow stitch. Loving the wheel choice too. Now to wait until Winter

I was going to do the yellow stitching and yellow calipers, but my 3RS is Miami Blue with all yellow. So last minute I changed mainly to be a little different. It will look fantastic with the yellow!
