Yes I passed on GB trim in the interior. I have never grown tired of leather in any of the cars I have owned. Probably I sign of age

He's a 981 owner who loves the fake snap-crackle-pops, so I take anything he says about the exhaust with a grain of salt.

I went with brushed aluminum and silver/grey seat belts and threading. Seemed to tie in nicely but I don't have the car yet!

hard to tell as it could be the Black Brushed Alumnium as well.
I don't think it is. I had black brushed aluminum in my 981 Spyder and it had more contrast than that. Nothing wrong with leather, it just blends into the background more, so you get less of a defined line of contrast.
