We all should have sold stocks mid February The Spyder (I hope) will be a long term, keeper car, and hopefully will add many smiles to each of us on those Sunday morning, back country drives. I can see myself driving this one for 10 years or more-a beautiful car and one of Porsche's better looking cars IMHO. Yes the electric 718 will be faster but hard to see how it will have any soul. My reflexes will be challenged enough with the Spyder on public roads and the GT4 on the track!
I can't wait- even if my 401k is down and my Spyder is delivered 3 months late.

I suspect all of our cars will be delayed at least 3 months.

Given the time that has pasted since your post, I would say no.

Sure anyone could throw out meaningless numbers but I think that it is a waiting game now.

It has only been 3 days since the closure. I don't think all this April 6 stuff is sticking, it'll be longer. Trump wants America open for Easter but I doubt it.

I haven't been following the situation in Germany, how bad is it there? Canada is only introducing more restrictions and now an undefined period for schools to remain closed (was April 6 to resume).

While understandable from a health care pov, the level of restrictions isn't sustainable for months from an economic perspective let alone the concerning social impacts (domestic violence, child abuse, suicides, mental well being).

From March 16th: https://www.euronews.com/2020/03/13/...ovid-19-deaths

Now from March 24, a little further along, like everywhere it depends how well the citizens heed the warnings to stay home!

Thanks!

In that regard, Canada has work to do as well.

Yes very true, I have no idea how some people seem to be in denial, the scenes of hikers around Vancouver at Quarry Rock and the Sea Wall astound me, a house party in Esquimalt with the millennials telling the police they are immune from the 'old peoples flu' !!! I think that until it is ordered/mandatory for people to stay home that there are those that will continue to go because nobody told them they have been ordered not to.

I sincerely hope that the situation in China proves out and after the required shut-down things car slowly and carefully return to normal.

I was speaking to another business owner yesterday and he said one of his employees went to a COVID-19 party last weekend. This spooked another employee who raised concerns and now he has shut his business until mid April.

So here in the US, we can once again chant, "We're #1!"

The story says the US has more Wuhan Flu cases than China did ... if you believe the numbers that China reported.
I'm rooting for Germany to start pumping out Porsche's again.
