We haven't yet got our hands on a 718 here in the US, but all indications show the stock riser is the same part as the 981.
These raise the stock wing by 3", which really suits the "dropped" wing endplates of the 718. Made from 6061 billet aluminum with a flawless black anodized finish.

It does increase rear downforce by moving the wing to cleaner air. Aesthetically, it’s hard to argue that it’s not better. And in terms of finish, the stock is quite roughly finished, where ours has crisp sides, beveled edges, perfect finish. Stock hardware (bolts and weather seals) are retained, so no concerns there.
I have to agree that this looks great. I would be concerned with upsetting the carefully thought through aero balance of the car though...
The risers do move the wing into cleaner air, which does add some rear downforce. We do suggest removing the front factory aero ducts to help with balance. The wing angle is kept the same as factory. At the highest levels of track use, you may want to consider front dive planes.

A nice little mod for when we all get over that initial gut punch and kick in the ***** of spending a small fortune on a GT4...lol. Until then, Ill make every excuse in the book of why I like the car stock.
