After watching the Chris Harris video on the GT3 Touring which has the correct motor engine and transmission we seek, I think that the correct name should be Spyder Touring...

Can anyone confirm the 4RS has navi? It is not listed as standard nor optional equipment in the Canadian configurator.

I have the same question. The sport chrono option requires it for full functionality, which imples that it must be either standard or available as an option, but I'm not so sure. I asked our sales associate in the Toronto area and hope to get a definitive response to share with this group.

I have also asked him whether the mirrors have an electric folding feature. You might also note that the rear glass does not have a defroster, even here in the Canadian market, which I assume is because it is light-weight glass.

Finally, regarding the headlight cleaning nozzles, the Canadian configurator shows the washing nozzles when you specify the LED headlights, but I have learned not to depend on the visual representation.

Having Navigation allows SC functions to also display on its screen, otherwise they just show in the right instrument cluster screen.

US lists as standard:
Audio and Communication*Navigation including Porsche Connect: 4G LTE module, Updatable onboard maps (first 3 years), Embedded SIM card in addition to SIM card slot, Navigation & Infotainment Services (activated through My Porsche)

The lightweight glass in the GT3 has defrost. So, I don’t think that should be a reason the 4RS couldn’t have it.

It’s probably already pointed out in the 300+ pgs of this thread but I play with configurator off & on since it went live. Tonight for the 1st time I clicked on the wheel & wheel accessories. How many lucky buyers do you think will opt for the snow chains?

Thanks for the confirmation, hopefully that is just a typo in the canadian website.

Just on that subject of light weight glass (LWG), be careful not to order sun protection glazing as you will loose the LWG.

I can’t say this will be definite with the 4RS but it was on 991.2 Carrera T and GT3 RS (LWG wasn’t an option on GT3 cars, nor was door pull straps for that matter).

That's hilarious. Massachussets? Maybe for Northern New York State! Here in Canada we don't have that option. I'm sulking now, LOL!

I just saw a post on Porsche's IG saying 60% more downforce than a normal GT4? What gives. They said 20-something during launch.

Here's a direct link from the IG post: https://christophorus.porsche.com/en...=instagram_bio

I think AP said 20% "with each at their maximum setting". Perhaps the claim of 60% is at other more typical speeds/settings?
(AP was also referring to just the wing I believe, not the whole pkg)
