It refers to the license plate that you see on the cars in all the initial media events. 'S' stands for Stuttgart (where the vehicle is registered), 'GO" is Geschäftsbereich Oeffentlichkeitsarbeit which roughly translates into Public Relations or a vehicle to be used during press events.
If you look at all the videos from Knockhill of the GT4s you will see that they start with S GO 13xx. The previous 981 GT4 media cars all were S GO 12xx.

scott40 - I found another picture of this car on another thread and it is actually plated differently. It appears to be one internal to Porsche, so I still don't think it tells us much about PTS availability but the info I sent about the S GO tags is correct.

Here is my build. Lots of back-and-forth between GT Silver and Chalk but I went for the classic, timeless option. All with red accents (brakes, belts, steering wheel, stitching and of course extinguisher ) and carbon interior.

Just to add: I might add a stripe like the one pictured below (red/black). What do you think?
The new 911 RSR also made me think about a center red stripe. Probably does not exist yet, not sure if that would look good or not (might be over the top).

Miami Blue with Black wheels + PCCB. Silver stitch interior.
As much as I want the carbon buckets, they push my budget a little too far AND the no seat heating (this will be a DD in NE Ohio - even through the winter ) is a deal-breaker.

I'm not a blue car car guy but saw the You Tube video from a German Magazine outlet and I have to say the Gentain Blue does look very good.
On the brighter blues I do prefer Mexico over Miami.
Wish Lava Orange was available, like on the other 718s...at least in 2019.

Looking forward to seeing Gentian blue in person. If it doesn’t work for me I’ll be heavily looking at black.
Seems the darker colors hide all the new black plastic bits on the cars.
No matter which color I get I’ll be getting the Porsche badge in back blacked out.
