Arek,

That is a beautiful looking Spyder. Amazing options as well. Thanks for posting the photographs. I can keep looking at this and imagine mine.

Thanks,

Arek, congrats! how would you compare your enjoyment of the GT4 vs. your 991.2 GT3?

I do feel that the GT3 is a notch above it. Everything feels just a bit more sharp and that GT3 engine is just something else. BUT, the Spyder feels smaller and I actually think it's more suited for back roads, especially top down. The suspension feels more compliant, the transmission more forgiving and the steering less twitchy (but still very communicative). So far I'm keeping it under 5k rpm but power and torque feel good already. It's harder to make it sound good - seems to close the flaps unless you're WOT - but I do like the tone when they're open and I think it will get even better at higher rpms.

Overall, it's more civilized and easier to live with as a daily but no less entertaining on back roads. GT3 feels more like a race car and I would prefer it on a track day though.

Default Racing Yellow/Spyder Classic

Congratulations 911 JOE, Raghu, arek!

Has anyone dared to spec Racing Yellow with Spyder Classic Interior?

@the_rider hmmmm, I think that this looks like a caterpillar that we know is poisonous because of the colour combinations!

What's the saying, "one mans poison..."

Westcoast, as another saying goes, "you got to know it's a poison, so that you can avoid it"!!! Damn, I'm desperately trying to figure out how to get Spyder Classic without a boring, to me, color which it seems to fit better with!!

Ahhhh, I see where you are coming from now! Colour combinations are the toughest choices, made even tougher with a limited exterior colour choice.

So it sounds like a Spyder Classic interior for sure and you just need to wrap it up right? The problem is that the term Spyder Classic seems to denote a certain combination, sort of preconceived if you know what I mean.

Are you suggesting selecting parts of Classic Interior via discrete options/CXX? It is only attractive as a whole package. Sadly, it doesn't seem to work well with bold colors such as yellow and red!

There are some theory put together from human history suggesting that two primary colors or combination could work well together, red-yellow just not the case. it could be explained as subjective beauty to some extend, but most of time it leads to some sort of aesthetic disaster...

Not really suggesting selecting parts via CXX, just that two very strong colours on close proximity battle for your attention, I think the reason the red Classic Interior only looks good when paired to an exterior a subdued shade like white, silver, black.
