Ahh that would explain it. The order has not been frozen yet so I’m trying to visualise what it would look like. From the lack of existing ones I thought I might be making a mistake as I’ve found quite a few GT Silver with black roofs and the Platinum wheels but still struggling to find one with a red roof..

You aren't the only one. I've never owned a black car, but his may be my first. I'm thinking the ceramic coatings available will help keep it cleaner. Silver stitching for me as I already purchased 911R pepita LWB seat inserts.

Doesn't really make a difference on a black car. You still get all the swirls and marks. My first Spyder was black and it was ceramic coated. Looked great but it showed every little mark; most annoying was that it always showed the fingerprints on/around the door handles. Had to constantly wipe those down. I looooove that black car, but I decided that I just can't do black again. I've owned three black Porsches, all looked awesome when new and clean, but showed every mark and nick over time.

Would love to see a car with platinum wheels and PCCBs with calipers painted black, if anyone happens to have one...

I second that, all my bimmers were black, and loved it in that color but maintenance was a bit of a hassle during specific seasons (pollen-magnet). Now having owned other colors like silver, etc., the difference is night and day on amt of elbow grease to keep the car looking "clean".

Brain fart!
Indeed, I had the Aurum in mind!
About the Platinum: its standard on the GT4, while the Spyder gets Silver as standard. I hate Silver wheels on a yellow car. Opting for Black or Platinum is the same premium. Somehow, paying extra for a color that's free on the GT4 twin isn't feeling good. And I had Platinum on my previous yellow 981 hence I wanted at least the wheels in another color.
Maybe one day I will have the wheels painted in Slate Grey..

That'll be interesting to see. One of the elements that appeals to me is the contrast to everything else that's black.
