it's 987.2 S with PSE, BC Velocity tips (change a sound a bit) and Fabspeed catless headers (have changed the sound a looot).
with this thing the last bit i've been missing from the S2000 (intoxicating sound) got covered

Default 718 RS60 Driven by Derek Bell at Targa Florio

Beautiful vid from Petrolicious. The new 718 Boxster is shown at the tail end of this 10 minute+ clip, but this is all about its historic namesake.

It's remarkable how the lineage to these early cars can be seen so clearly in the 986, 987, 981 and now 982. To me, this is what separates Porsche from other makes -- the fact that the design heritage is so visible in their sports cars.

This has more to do with the gear ratios than the engine. This is a great demo of the effect of some long *** MT gearing on the 981S /GTS and Spyder
