Porsche to End ICE-Powered 718 Production Next Year?
By Verdad Gallardo

Having been banned in the EU, continuing the production of the 718 globally becomes less feasible for Porsche.

Confirmed to me by the owner of a local Porsche dealership. October 2025 will be the end of the 982 production.

There is mention of this on the other 718 forum as well.

Get an ICE allocation while you can, gents. It will be only electric 718s starting next October.

The dealer made it seem that 10/2024 was last production for 982 718's. So we have till 10/2025?

yes we have till October 2025. This was officially announced by Porsche. A fresh new round of allocations have come in so at this point its now or never for a new 718.

I was under the impression that they will stop taking orders for Model Year 2025 October. I hope there is clarification.

Don’t expect clarification from Porsche.

Sometime in the future dealers will see trim order books close and communicate that to customers.

Imagine to end in October 2025, last allocations drop late spring. Maybe earlier…

Unclear if all trims make it to end

Production has ended for the 982 platform for Europe, with the exception of the RS models continuing.
So does anyone with a connection to Porsche know how North America and the rest of world production for the 982 will be allocated?
Will there be mostly high profit RS models allocated?
For North America and ROW will allocations for 982's increase over past years since factory K has been added to factory S as a production site, and since Europe can not continue with the 982, except for 982 RS models?
