PCar Talk mentioned in a recent podcast that an updated Cayman T & Boxster will be getting the option of a naturally aspirated engine.

I am dubious that these two have reliable information vis-a-vis an N.A. 718 T.

Agreed, very dubious given that the turbocharged T was just released in North America weeks ago, we haven't seen any signs of testing mules for this, and making yet another naturally aspriated engine compliant with current emissions rules would be costly. Test cars for the GT4/Spyder/GTS 4.0 had been on the Nurburgring for nearly two years before they were announced. It was an expensive and time consuming development process, and they had to spread the development cost over multiple models. I doubt Porsche even has a business case for such a car - it's already a low volume model, approaching the end of its life cycle, and the niche of people who would only accept an NA flat six, can't afford the GTS 4.0, but can afford a slightly cheaper model, is very slim. If anything, it'll cannibalize sales of the GTS 4.0, reducing Porsche revenue.
