Default Front license plate options

In NY, the police would prefer to give tickets for this offense rather than track down criminals. As such, I am going to put a front license plate on my 718.

I am looking for aesthetic options (pics please):

- town hook mounts (no thanks, look silly)

Please post to give me some options to consider

I made a magnetic mount using the OE bracket.
I trimmed the bracket so that it doesnt touch anywhere except for the magnets.
I have PPF on the car.

I run plateless where I feel its OK, plus remove at the track C&C etc.

I’ve driven my last 2 Porsches (Including my 981 Spyder) for 7 years in NY without a front license plate and received only one ticket - from a local LEO no less. Ymmv, but i intend to go without a front license plate on my 718 Spyder as well.

Interesting! I will be putting a front plate on my upcoming car in NY, but won't drill...will do one of these options. Where in NY are you?

Here's a link to how I attached my front license plate & it's held great for 1.5 years so far. I check it regularly and there has been no loosening. You also don't need to take your front bumper off to use this system.

I am located near Niagara Falls, NY

The troopers up here are out of control when it comes to speeding and tickets.

In NY, no front plate is a $400 fine.

Uber and Lyft drivers are the only folks who should have front plates. None of my five cars have front plates even though I've lived in states requiring them for the last 23 years.

I got a Rennline tow-hook plate mount, but it freaks out my park distance control, so I was thinking about another option.

The magnet solution works, holds on at speed, doesn't wiggle around or scratch or anything?

In Illinois, this is technically ticketable but it's super rare to get pulled over for it. Where you really have to watch it is parking in Chicago, because you'll get a ticket every time a meter-monitor walks by your car. So maybe a magnetic park-and-slap-it-on method would work for me. Hmm.

You need some PPF to protect the paint.
It's solid as a rock.

Hate the look of the tow hook adapters myself. Plus, some I hear interfere w/ the parking assist.
I installed the Skene Design bracket and am really happy with it.
