Default TB/WP Party 1 hr West of DC (and beer)

It was great meeting some other Shark owners in DC this past Saturday. Several of you even seemed interested in driving out to help (or watch) me change my timing belt sometime soon.

Michael (thanks) brought me Rick's tensioner guage. Thanks Rick!

This weekend is gone but I'm hoping to gather the rest of the tools, and someone who can QC my work, soon.

Please let me know which date may work for you if you have an interest in attending. Beer and food will be served.

Thumbs up

That would be great, Bill! Thanks also for offering the loan of some tools. I'm so new to this S4 that I don't even know the safe lift points yet.

It's just sitting and waiting for this new TB and WP. I also ordered cam gears in case it needs them.

Hey Chris - i have to do the same to my 88 928 unfortunately but I am gone the next 3 weekends in a row - any chance of the following weekend - Aug 5 and 6? I could trailer my shark up your way and we could do both. Otherwise, I can only give you my virtual support

Default I like the idea

I like the idea and I don't mind waiting a bit longer if it will benefit you and increase participation. The question is whether or not we can keep the tools until Aug 5-6.

Let's see how others respond to this idea and I'll try to add Aug 5-6 to the poll.

^--What he said. I have pretty much every tool we could need for a TB/WP. All I have to do is figure out where they are...

Chris , I could come Aug. 5 or 6 and I can bring the tb wp tools as well. I can also bring my 87 s4 with the Murph SuperShark sc. One drive in that and I know what your next expense will be!

Talking Weekend of August 5-6

Wow! Now I'm really looking forward to August 5th!

In the meantime I can work on sorting out the turbo kit for my 911.

Well it sounds to me like the Aug 5th NOVA GTG is at Chris's house!! WOO HOO!!

That was one of the easiest ones yet!! Now you just have to post directions for the rest of us. You may wanna just send PM's though.

Hope your neighbors don't mind.

Thumbs up My neighbors will love it

...at least all of the husbands will love it. We just have to keep our speed under 30 in my development. My police officer friend also lives down the street, but he's cool. Most importantly, I just got this blessed by by wife and kids.

Good idea, Mike! I can PM all interested parties with my address. These are the basic directions you can use to estimate travel time:

Stephens City, VA

I-66 West to I-81 North about 5 miles

or

VA Route 7 West to I-81 South about 5 miles
