Singer Vehicle Design has unveiled a vivid Porsche 911 restomod called the Southampton Commission and the attention to detail on this sports car is absolutely sublime.

Even before we could recalibrate ourselves from the experience of Singer’s 911 All-terrain Competition Study (ACS), the California atelier has unveiled yet another vivid restoration. The all-new restomod is called the Southampton Commission, and it sports a vibrant teal paint job, which the design house describes as the “Perfect Blue”.

The Los Angeles-based customizer also used light-ghosted blue stripes, to further accentuate the bold lettering, which is finished in a deep orange shade. The bold orange Porsche logos adorn the decklid and doors of this striking 911 restomod.

The owner of Singer Southampton Commission is probably a fan of vivacious retro sports cars. The brake calipers are also finished in the same deep orange color scheme as the Porsche logos, and sport white lettering, which was a styling touch requested by the customer.

The beautiful Porsche 911 restomod is based on a left-hand drive coupe body, and the customer specified that Singer installs “center-mounted external fuel filler and external oil filler.” The car rides on a set of Fuchs-style rims, and the custom car builder was also instructed to use open lug nut wheels for the project.

Southampton Commission’s cabin is a bright and lively space that is wrapped in woven suede upholstery. Most of the surfaces are wrapped in orange material, which matches the shade of lettering on the exterior of the car. The interior also features many exposed metal services like the transmission tunnel, which are finished in Singer’s “Perfect Blue” paint scheme.

Teal stitching is used for the decorative racing stripes on the door panels and seats. The steering wheel is wrapped in black suede and gets the same stitching that makes the racing stripe patterns. Singer also offers many modern-day features in the Southampton Commission, like a navigation system and air conditioning. The car also gets lightweight racing seats, which are carbon fiber units and feature brass grommets.

Singer Southampton Commission is powered by a beautifully rebuilt 4-liter, air-cooled motor. The straight-six powertrain is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, and the power is sent to the rear wheels as per the customer’s request. The attention to detail on this restoration is simply sublime, and Southampton Commission 911 is sure to brighten up your day.
