This guy Shmee150 really is living the life. One of his most recent videos spends 27 minutes in the hills of the French Riviera near Monaco, exploring a McLaren 675LT, a Ferrari FF, and a Porsche Cayman GT4, all vehicles he’s purchased within the past month.

After Tim Burton (Shmee, not the director) drove the McLaren around Italy, and the GT4 straight from the Porsche dealership, this was the first time he’d rounded up all three cars into the same place. So he took some time to explain why he purchased each one. It’s such a momentous occasion, because he ordered the McLaren almost a year ago, the GT4 about half a year ago, and the FF most recently.

Starting at about the 2:15 mark of the video below, Shmee150 talks about the third McLaren he’s owned. Only 500 versions of the special edition 675LT (codenamed P11R) were built, which makes this a bit of an investment and the reason Shmee broke away from one-car ownership. Because, though McLarens are usually comfortable enough to do so, daily driving this thing wasn’t in Shmee’s plans.

Shmee’s thoughts on the Sapphire Blue GT4, the one you guys are probably most interested in, start at 8:40. As ridiculous as it might sound, the original idea behind this mid-engined, manual, sport-specific ride was to use it as a daily driver. He calls it the best car you could have for the “tight, twisty stuff.” Then he kind of realized that it, too, started to really jump up in value.

And that, essentially, is why he ended up getting a Ferrari, as well. While looking for something more practical, and considering the BMW M6 Grand Coupe or the Audi RS6, a friend seeded the idea of an FF. And although it’s not the most popular Ferrari, Shmee said he’s always enjoyed it, and as a four-wheel-drive, four-seater with enough space for storage, he thought it was actually a perfect fit for what he was looking for. And, you know, so he could also do things like this:
