Pristine 944 Turbo eBay Find: Snag It Quick!

Of all the cars I have ever owned, I might have to say my 1984 Porsche 944 is my favorite. The balance, handling, and poise of that machine was nearly perfect. It managed to nail the perfection of the Miata before the Miata ever existed. But just like a Miata, the one thing I really wished my 944 had was just a bit more grunt. Porsche remedied the situation with the 951, better known as the 944 Turbo.

If you are like me and have always loved the misunderstood FWD Porsches, Bring a Trailer has a beautiful slab of German sexy that you need to pay attention to. Found on eBay and located in Spokane, Washington, we have a pristine black 1988 model 951 with less than 80k on the clock. The car also has had all the big maintenance items taken care of, including timing belt, water pump and balance shaft, as well as new major seals.

The seller claims this beast has no leaks, all work was done by professionals, and aside from some touchup work, the paint is 100-percent original. I don’t think you could find a much cleaner 944 Turbo if you wanted to.

The “Buy It Now” price is set at just over $20k. The only problem with this car that I can find is that it’s not wearing Guards Red paint — seriously, the best color on any 944 ever created.
