Porsche Design Fall-Winter Eyewear Gets 'Polarized' for 2021

Porsche Design ‘Air Spring Series,’ offers squared and classic aviator sunglasses that reduce eye fatigue and increase visibility via advanced light filtering.

Porsche Design has a new catalogue, and a pleasant surprise for those who love complementary “sunnies” with their classy Stuttgart carriages.

PD’s recently-launched Fall/Winter Eyewear Collection now sports VISION DRIVE™ Lens Technology. These lenses provide UV protection and anti-glare tech, providing full form and function both on the road and while you traverse your everyday pedestrian routes.

New Additions for 2021

New for Fall/Winter 2021 is the “Air Spring Series,” “Ball Tec Series,” and “Flexible Purism Series.” The Air Spring P’8930 Squared Aviator Style & P’8931 Classic Aviator Style are the flagships for the new collection.

On the build quality side of things, the Air Spring Series shades have 100 percent titanium construction paired with VISION DRIVE’s Polarized XTR tech. According to Porsche Design, XTR lenses actively enhances contrast, improving overall glare protection, which consequently increases color and depth perceptions for the user.

You now have a pair of super-resilient sunglasses and never have to worry about those extreme dusk-to-dawn sunrays.

The “Ball Tec Series” comes with Porsche Design’s advent joint solution, along with VISON DRIVE UV 400 protection. By foregoing the conventional hinge joint, the spherical shape, made of 100 percent titanium, offers maximum flexibility and durability.

Finally, the Flex Purism Series offers the greatest amount of flexibility for those who those who are minimalists at heart. Stainless steel wire construction makes the lenses appear as if they are levitating, while the temples sport high-performance polyamide RXP® construction.
