Default The GT3 is sold

Some might have seen my post or the new owner posting up a few photos on social media. I have sold my cobalt blue 997.2 GT3 after owning it for nearly 12 years. It was a daily for some of the time and it was in storage for nearly half the time. I travel a lot. Each time I was away I tossed up whether to sell. Each time I returned and drove it I knew I wouldn't sell. This time was different. I'll be based in Europe for the foreseeable future so keeping it didn't make a lot of sense.

Spoke with Doug at Switch Cars early in the year and when I returned to the US I did one last road trip from Georgia to Ohio. It wasn't ideal with a cold snap going through the northern states. Luckily I found some fun empty roads the day before when I still wasn't too far north. Doug had the car sold in less than a day. He was great to deal with and made it all very easy. Some said it was sold too cheaply, others said to expensive. Ah, the internet! Would not hesitate to use him again and in fact he has my 993 there at the moment ( with a recent $10k price drop)

Here's a few photos from the day I picked it up, my first road trip the next day and almost 50000 miles later, the last road trip. It's been fun.

Congratulations and I sure hope that you made a lifetime of memories. Enjoy your next adventure!

PS. Doug is 'good people', so I'm glad to hear you had a great experience with him.

Hannibal lock and Dam with the GT3! Crazy. My Turbo has been there many times visiting tons of family in the area. 536 is a blast right across the street, and great views down the valley.
