It’s Not Easy Being Green, Just Ask This 928

You can’t really say the 928 was an un-loved Porsche. After all, owners from our Rennlist forums will praise it up and down. Yet it does seem that some people feel it is perfectly okay to cut one of these up. However, the ones who do seem to have questionable taste for interior appointments, and this mint green leather and suede upholstered 928 is the perfect example to back up that theory.

Called the “Fiona Shrek Edition” by some members, and “Minty” by a few others, the treatment of the interior is downright glaring. Some even recommend that the car simply get parted out. But still, this “loathsome, offensive brute” is something you can’t look away from.

Even though the job is very thorough and almost everything has been slathered in green, the poor workmanship is evident throughout. There’s even stuff that isn’t green, which is equally awful. Horrid speakers and extra Porsche badges (which are tacky at best) only enhance the visual assault, as well as a carbon fiber simulated shift nob that looks as if it spent time in a microwave. The infamous touch sensitive window switches are present as well.

Perhaps someone can breathe new life into this thing, but is it worth it?
