Porsche GRP - BBi Exhaust

Once equipped on the seller’s own GT3 Touring, GRP/BBi center bypass exhaust will make your 991 911 GT3 sound hardcore!

It’s a new year. It’s a new decade. It’s time to get your Porsche ready to go for the adventures to come, on the track, and on the open road. The best place to start is at our own Rennlist Marketplace! There, you’ll find all sorts of parts and accessories you might need for your ride, from whole engines, to turbos and tires.

Speaking of engines, though, you’ll definitely want an exhaust to make your Porsche sound amazing around the corners. We found such a piece the other day, in the form of a GRP/BBi center bypass unit for 991.1 and 991.2 911 GT3s.

“Recently pulled off my 2019 GT3 Touring,” wrote forum member weshowell. “Black ceramic coated with clamps, etc. Had about 5k miles on it. Like new. I had it made with no logos for an all black cleaner look.”

The BBi exhaust is just one of several pieces offered for Porsches by Graham Rahal Performance, something that should be of no surprise to those who know about the Rahal family. IndyCar star and company namesake Graham Rahal himself is one more in the family line to tie himself to Stuttgart, owning both a rare Carrera GT in Sand White, and a 918 Spyder in Viper Green, per an interview with Robb Report in August of 2015.

Going back to the exhaust, GRP teamed up with BBi to design and manufacture this center bypass unit, which the company says is not only “a direct replacement for the secondary center muffler,” but is also “a great alternative to [GRP’s] Cup-style Side Muffler Bypass pipes.”

The unit allows users to retain the stock side muffler units, which are tied to the OEM “sports” button. Said button allows the driver to open up the exhaust for maximum roar on the track, or close it up for quiet rumbling when pulling out of the driveway.

The Utah-based seller is asking $1,600 or best offer for the GRP/BBi bypass, which is $700 less than what the company sells the unit for online.

And of course, if this isn’t what you need for your Porsche, we still have plenty of parts available at our Rennlist Marketplace, with more listings added every day. Come on over now!
