SPOCOM 911

SPOCOM is a show that combines automotive culture, apparel, collectibles, photography, dance, and cinema.

The 2023 SPOCOM Tour presented by Falken Tire has two stops remaining. The show will be coming to San Diego on September 16 and to Dallas on October 7. If you are in the area and looking for a show like nothing else, then you are going to want to attend SPOCOM. There are a few things that make SPOCOM standout from other car shows. For one, there are hundreds of vehicles on display inside an exhibition hall. And the types of vehicles are what make it exciting. This is by no means a Porsche only event. There will be Porsche vehicles for sure. However, there will also be many custom rides from automakers all over the world. In the building you will find a custom Porsche 911 Turbo slantnose parked next to a Subaru BRZ or BMW 3-series.

Another thing that makes SPOCOM unique is that it goes beyond just cars. The show is targeted to a younger crowd and it is the young folks that tend to drive most trends. So, you will see the latest automotive trends for sure, but you will also see what is hot in fashion, film, and photography as well. Like most public events the pandemic put a dent in the SPOCOM shows. However, with shows already held in Honolulu and Berkeley it is obvious that SPOCOM is stronger than ever in 2023.

The Cars

Hundreds of custom cars will be attending the San Diego and Dallas shows. And the cars displayed here are not modified with a bunch of Pep Boys parts tacked on in the parking lot. Each vehicle that is on display has been reviewed and selected by the SPOCOM team. Every vehicle you see is a top-notch build. If you are a true gear head and love more than just Porsche, this event is a great place to see what car builders are able to do with other brands. There will also be dozens of automotive vendors on hand to help you customize your own car.

More than Cars

As if the cars are not enough SPOCOM offers a wide variety of entertainment. You will see a street dance competition. A swimwear fashion show, and modeling competition are also signature activities. On top of that there are all the like-minded enthusiasts that you can talk and mingle with. SPOCOM is as much of a party as it is a car show. If you like a fun and vibrant atmosphere, then you are certainly going to want to add this show to your must-attend list.
