Very cool Jeep. My concern about any type of Jeep is that whenever I've driven them, they seem to wander all over the road. I've looked into this some, and the consensus is that one can spend a lot of money, but because of the huge tires they seem to grab every bridge in the road in Trimline easily. I'm interested in how yours drives. If I could find a jeep that tracked true and straight, I'd be a lot more likely to make the move.

Cool looking mall crawler but with 38s on stock axles, stock gearing and a cheap lift, I hope the new owner doesn't plan on actually using this thing.

RE: wandering all over the road... as soon as you start tacking lift kits onto the Jeep things can get out of control pretty quickly. Aggressive tires will make everything more obvious. That said, if dialed in properly -- it should do pretty well. My JK goes straight down the road and doesn't wander.... and I'm running 42" tires.

New owner will want to swap to (some light, such as MTR) 37's if he plans on wheeling... no added real-world utility to have 38's over 37's. Potentially > $5k expensive otherwise. If it has the 4.10 gears I'd probably just keep them...maybe still with the 3.73's if it's flat out there. The new 3.6 is great when mixed with the Rubi transfer case for wheeling. Huge improvement over the 3.8. I mean yes, new gearing (~$2k) would be great of course, but it is not a requirement to go out and wheel the Jeep and have a great time.

I am running 35s on a 3in custom lift with geometry correction, and she drives better now than when it was stock. Having at least the 3.73 gears is a great improvement over the stock gearing. Hence my curiosity if this was build on a sport or a diff model with better gearing.

When comparing this bling-only build to $70k+ capable rigs, your sort of asked for it.

FYI, Sports have 3.73s as an option. It may be close to drivable if optioned with them but with base 3:21s, I'm surprised it even moves, let alone doing Jeep things.

As a jeep guy this is a good build for the money. Its more street side than full off road. I have the same retractable side steps. They are awesome, but crummy off road (lesson learned). The interior is well done. The LEDs well done. Not a fan of those tires, but overall this is a good deal depending on what you want.

Nobody should diss this jeep here. Agree its not a 70K hard core off roader by any means.

As for other comments - mine doesn't wander, but you will know the cracks in the road. To another point its not a Lexus, but I love everyday I drive mine.
