Debating on Mac and Windows is like debating on Religion and Politics.
Just go throwing your machines at each other and smashing them.....
The last one standing is the winner.
Besides, majority of you don't even make full use of your computers,
Do you know or use all the features that come with the OS?
How would you know which is better then??
Better for email, or for surfing the net?
Or just coz' someone else says so...

Once you try Mac you never go Back!
I read on a Software package once System requirements Windows 2000 or better so I bought a Mac. LOL Windows Vista looks cool, but I haven't tried it yet.

I'm in the IT industry and troubleshoot networks for a living. Macs are great, PCs are great too. They are just different. Microsoft, on the other hand, is questionable, but has gotten a lot better over the years. Vista comes with a lot of added junk and security protection that we could all live without. But, it wasn't any different when XP came out replacing Windows 2000. Just buy the machine with Vista and try it out and get Office 2007 is you can for a reasonable cost. You can always reformat and put XP on it, but you should really try Vista and you'll find that it does the job just fine. I don't believe the there are a lot of reliability issues with Vista.
In 3 years, most Microsoft people will be using Vista, so why wait 1-3 years to play catch-up?

The only known OS X 'virus' was one that could spread via iChat, and was proofed in 2006.
However in order to 'catch' said virus you had to do all of the following:
1) Are somehow sent (via email, iChat, etc.) or download the "latestpics.tgz" file
2) Double-click on the file to decompress it
3) Double-click on the resulting file to "open" it
4) Be an Admin level user on OS X and agree to install the application when prompted.
If that's the worst I have to cope with, I'm still at Mac 1 MS 114,000 +
Oh, and that one was patched by Mac back in 06
Try this for yourself, go to http://www.microsoft.com, and search for the word virus.
Now do the same at http://www.apple.com
You get 82,466 hits at MS, and 98 at Apple - that should tell you all you need to know
Or maybe the fact that the 100 most virulent virus attacks cause 99.9% of damage to computer systems, and none of these attacks work on Mac OS X
