coolant pipe separation, engine-out to pin, etc). Sigh. The one Achilles heel of these cars
What to look for, any signs prior to failure? What is the FIX?

If you are lucky a fitting will start to drip, but usually they just let go all at once. It is not a big deal so long as you are not a race track at high speed.

The fix is pinning or welding.

Replaced the windscreen (rock kicked up by truck) and sent my rearview mirror for the liquid rebuild whilst it was out.

Clutch accumulator replaced.... love the way clutch feels now! $325 at the dealership and I supplied the accumulator and Pentosin fluid.

Where "not a big deal" disregards the $3k-4k cost of the repair (that's before the "while we've got the engine out" extras...).

For all the details, just search this forum for "pinning," and you'll find a myriad of threads discussing the problem and the fix. Good news is that it's a one-time fix, if done right.

Nice vid, Scawt!

Changed manual transmission fluid. I couldn't change the front differential fluid since I didn't order 2 gallons of Delvac. Duh! Ordered another gallon and will change that when I get it. I also changed the serpentine belt on our Cayenne S.

I replaced my passenger side seat belt buckle. Now I just need to reset the airbag light. My only suggestion is to raise the seat a little if you have the electric seats it makes snaking the wire to the harness much easier.

Spent three great days at the track Friday to Sunday. The weekend was at Willow Springs and Patrick Long (Porsche Motorsports factory driver) ran a stint for one of the POC teams running the Tribute to LeMans race.

Here I go finding my spot at the last moment for the Time Attack session.

new rocker panel ( thanx boiulder ).
cam position sensor ( it couldn't tell ).

more little sh*t to do next week, as i'm gonna need rotors in the rear and pads of course.

still runs like a stung mule at 127,750 miles

i am sorry to be the one to say it, but you're getting your clock cleaned at a dealer who charged you 325 for swapping the accumulator. it's a 30 min job.. AND you supplied the part and fluid? yikes.

the trans fluid swap is 3 qts so you should have one left. dont overfill it!
