Will do! Since I went out after 1 lap last time my goal is to make it two laps today!
6 - 30min sessions on a 3.1mile track. Should be able to get all I want and then some today.

It was a lot of fun. Finished up wishing there was just one more session. Lol.
Car felt really really good. I was super careful first session then just slowly added a little more throttle and brake each time out. By the last session I was starting to really get a feel for it and slide it around a little better. It's crazy how different it feels from my silver one. In my head I thought it would feel the same but with more grip. But it's a totally different car.
I ran both the NT01s and the worn out Hankook z214s (about 30 heat cycles) and the z214s definitely felt better. They lacked the audible feedback of the NT01s but they gripped well and were very predictable once I was used to them. The two times they tried to get out from underneath me I just squeezed the throttle down, as recommended, and the car straightened right back up.
My goal is to now turn this car into a SPEC996 and be racing it by next spring. I got to see one built by Innovation Motorsports while I was down there yesterday. It was awesome but very intimidating. Mentally I was thinking swap the suspension and wing, put it on a diet, and I'd be good to go. What I underestimated is how big of a diet is required to get there. There is a lot of work to be done and they did a beautiful job on it. I have no idea if I can pull it off but I'm going to give it a shot.

Even more Brilliant! It's current sponsor is all of the upgrades on the silver car. Lol.
Did you know a bolt in roll cage isn't really a roll cage and shouldn't be used for racing? Or at least that's what I've basically been told by multiple trusted sources. That a welded cage is much safer and offers much better rigidity and performance. Well crap it's always something.
So here's the plan. Innovative Autosports does a beautiful job on full SP996 conversions so I'm going to have them build the cage. They have to pull the roof and front and back glass to do it right so they I'm going to have them replace the roof with a Spec compliant sunroof delete and the back glass with lexan. I wasn't wanting to let them have all the fun so they've given me detailed instructions on how strip the rest of the interior prior to bringing it to them. I will do all of the AC delete, door and radio wiring removal all the way back to the connector, and strip the tar sound proofing. I'll still let them relocate the alarm module to under neath the dash and spot weld drill out a few extra pieces from the back seat.
And oh, by the way, if I can have it all done and down to them by Tuesday, they can finish it before Labor Day. Otherwise, I will have to wait until after race season. Guess I'm not going to be spending much time in the office the rest of this week.

Just be sure you get the rear shocks off the silver car first!!

Would a CF roof panel be withing the spec996 rules? If you're going to be removing the roof anyways, this could be an option assuming it is still rules compliant.

If I can get to 2650 with full cage I'll be ecstatic.

Dang it. I've got a big pasture roping I'm in that weekend in Arkansas or I'd meet you out there. I don't team rope much anymore but this is a commitment I made last year. Let me know where you are going after that. Where are are you located?
