Well, after reading this, I would never do business with AGLA and would discourage others from doing so as well.
Not because of Andreas' experience per se, but AGLA's response. AGLA admitted to Andreas that they are "sorry" and they "must've gotten it wrong" and they "blew it", yet I don't see any mention of a prompt refund to Andreas for all his expenses, including shipping charges incurred. Incompetence followed by hubris; nice job AGLA. Must be some former AIG employees working there, sounds like.
In their response, AGLA says they're not thieves. But a thief is someone who takes money from someone that doesn't belong to them. Unless AGLA refunded the money they took from Andreas, then they are indeed thieves.
Why would I ever do business with someone who admits they did shoddy work, are sorry that they got it wrong and blew it, yet still keeps my money and avoids my communications? I wouldn't.
Thanks for your response AGLA. That's what's costing you potential customers.

It never ceases to amaze me how some folks can even stay in business. When something like this happens once, I often wonder if the a$$hat on the other end had some major trauma in their life that day and just let it fall over. At least, that's what I try to tell myself so I don't lose complete faith in the human race. But jeeze, this certainly seems like a pattern with poor quality and horrible customer service to boot.

Kudos to you for bringing this to the board's attention, AOW, and shame on Alan Gun for not making things right. Dare I say it, I think AGLA should rectify these wrongs before he becomes a sponsor, despite the fact that the moniker already appears below his name. I'm not certain if IB will care, but it's certainly worth a try for any affected members to contact IB.
Although your experience with AGLA is maddening, md11plt's documentation of this new Rennlist sponsor's comments ("cancer boy"??) is indicative of the potential lack of professionalism and, worse yet, disregard for any semblance of human understanding that one can experience with this company and business owner.

Do your homework before you do business with some companies--not intented to be arrogant by any means but it's what I do.

Wow, never thought he'd end up here after all of the bad press he earned.
That reply to your post was reminiscent of another "vendor" who took some heat in the 993tt forum.
Not a good start.
