Well, it appears to be what this site used to be, not what it is today.

But that is because Jen and John sold it to ITB (In The Butt) but I thought they got out of it to pursue other things not to just start another Rennlist???? What am I missing? Someone set me straight here....

It doesn't matter how many satisfied customers someone has. It's how they deal with the minority that have a problem that counts.

BTW - I'm not having a go at you Mike - I'm just using your quote to demonstrate a point!

Well said. That was the point I was trying to make.

Customer Service.

Can't believe how many busineses disregard that tenet.

I guess he also never thought that anyone who drove a 4runner would be here ;-)

In reading Alan's posts, he keeps reiterating that he's too busy and can't respond to inquiries promptly, and so forth, and he keeps blaming the poor customer service and long turnaround times on something else. It seems like nothing is his fault when there is an unhappy customer.

I run a business too, and if something goes wrong, I have to take responsibility as the boss. Everything ultimately comes back to the guy at the top.

Alright, I've wasted enough time writing about this. So who's got some used GT3 harnesses they want to sell?

Interesting... a bit different and lower maintenence. A web community that polices itself. Neat concept.

Wish I would have clicked on cabrio993's sig link a long time ago.

and to get back on this thread's topic... there are some great pix posted by Paul Champagne of his leather work... this is art http://reutterwerk.com/forums/album....&pictureid=415

Andreas,
Nicely Done!
All of us have an obligation to inform consumers of businesses that don't deliver a quality product. That said, I do believe AGLA/Alan Gun willingly precipitated a good dose of self inflicted damage by opening their/his collective mouth.

For the record I want you to know that I was never embarrassed to ride in your truck with that sub-standard wheel. It was however a very low point for Toyota.

Interestingly, Mr. Gun has now stated on at least three occasions (see my last post on the 912 board) that he will take care of me with a new wheel. While I find this commendable, I have yet to actually hear from him.

Andreas,
In the interm, why not send that crappy old wheel my way ... two rolls of hockey stick tape, and it will be good & tight - sticky too : If you're keen on a DIY, I'll send down my curved needles. One can do a presentable job without the protracted angst ...
