@JeffDehr nice! Curious to know, what are the terms of your lease (down payment, duration, miles per year, and monthly payment). I have a C2S on order and am purchasing it rather than leasing, getting 1.99% for 7 years from my credit union. Just wanted to compare the two payments. Your car looks great by the way!

I placed mine in December and I have a February build date and early April delivery. We will see how accurate that is.

I finally received my allocation for the Targa 4S, for which I placed a deposit in mid-October. April build date, late May (? early June) delivery.

The deviated stitching option is finally available at dealers. I went with Pebble Gray throughout. Arrival is now pegged in early June.

It doesn't show on the Configurator but it was $3,500 option for dash, doors, steering column, center console and rear panel. There wasn't an option for the rear center tunnel even though mine will have the decorative stitching.

Advice sought - which wheel? I love the black painted sports wheel, just not so sure I like it with the brown interior.

Why not the platinum version of these?

With your color scheme if you do go with the Black sport wheels, one would want the black exhuast tips to match.
But I think from a design standpoint, the platinum is more visual!-Richard

Hello All!
I am about to lock my build and I am stuck on wheel color. Here's the current set-up:
http://www.porsche-code.com/PH8MMAK0
This show the 20" wheels with Platinum Satin finish. My question is if going with wheels painted in body color (GT Silver) is different enough from the standard finish to justify the $1635 cost. I did find some photos online, but I'm curious if anyone has seen a GT Silver wheel. Any other comments welcome too!
Thanks!

In my opinion, the satin finish may look nice on a dark colored car as the contrast would make the satin pop. I also wonder if the satin finish would show scratches more easily. I personally would either save that money or put it towards other option(s). Maybe someone who owns a specimen with satin finish can chime in. In any case, it is going to be a terrific ride!! Let us know how you get on !

I'd go with the wheels in the lower picture. Both the design and color fit the car better. I'm glad you stuck with the beige gauges.

Unfortunately all these options cannot generally be viewed on an actual vehicle.
Standard wheel, Platinum Satin or GT Silver are all 'light' finishes compared to black.
I would either paint to match or go with black for the wheels to 'pop'!

These are GT Silver Carrera S wheels on my GT Silver GTS. They were about a $700 option at the time (made no sense as I was passing up better standard wheels). I decided to get them after seeing them on a GT Silver Boxster in the showroom. I don't think I would have gone for them at $1,000 more.

In retrospect, I should have just taken the basic silver as I plan to get a set of after-market forged wheels later this year.
