The palm beach store only has 2 cars, neither of which work for me, for some reason I can't find the Miami stores inventory.
I think 20k off a 2017 is a good deal, most are offering that much off leftover 2016s.
RSA what have you found ?

I'm not sure if I got one I would track it. Maybe once but having driven it on the street I still think the RS is more enjoyable. I had a TTS and I think it's more of a GT car and that's what I would do with it.
Never driven McLaren but from everything I read and hear its a joy on the street and a mixed bag on track.
I don't like weird doors.
The other day I sat in a 570, I think they look beautiful. This one had a bunch of crap on it so sticker at $250K. $50K more then a nice RS, I guess you could hunt down a stripper and it would be fine value.
The fit and finish on the one I sat in was not great. Not terrible but some stuff I would not accept at delivery.
I'm not limber enough to get in and out, at 6'4 my knees where in the dash and I'm not certain that I would fit with a helmet on.
Enough dealers here but I still never see one at the track and when I did the early ones had problems. Its a better Cars and Coffee car if you're not too tall.

I drove a 570S a couple of days ago. Very fast, nice steering, and I liked the brake feel at least on the street. My problem was it was a little too refined and quiet. Nothing like winding the gt3 out with the exhaust pops when shifting.
Tires were cold but it was still spinning the wheels shifting from 2nd to 3rd.

I think the MAC are cool cars, I'm just concerned about reliability seen too many stories with car being in the shop for weeks. I drive my cars as much as I can so I'm not a mileage avoider for resale. I like the RS so much I have no problem keeping this car for years and never selling it.

Were you able to confirm palm beach is indeed providing that level of discount?

Since neither car on their website works for me I never called.
But I have called others and it seems some are offering $10k off 2017s
It really varies from dealer to dealer.

Another concern for me, that some of you have discussed, is fit and finish. I spoke with another friend today that deals with a lot of those cars in his business and he echoed this as well. Is this true? I think that I'm going to sit this one out for a while and see how the market is in 6-12 months.

And.. that's it. Everything else is tight. So far the only weird thing I experienced is that the front trunk latch gave false error message twice which went away after opening the front trunk and closing it again.
Overall less issues than with the RS or the GTS4.

I drove a 570s yesterday with CJ at his Mclaren open house.
First off I have limited experience in anything but a Porshe....couple F Cars and a Lamborghini or two over the last few years.
I was able to drive the car for about 30 min around AZ.
The car is awesome. The fit and finish was impeccable. The interior layout perfect. Visibility is surprisingly good. The lines on the car look way better in person and I love the look. Car has more in common with 911 TurboS than a GT3. Plenty Fast, little turbo lag but all part of the experience. The turn in is amazing. Feels like the middle of the car is turning. So fast I just about clipped a curb. I love it. Brakes seemed similar to ceramics in old GT3. The car pulls like a freight train when it needs to. Put it in auto mode and it drives like my M3.
I loved it and will own one soon. It is a super car that you can take a 10 hour road trip in and feel relaxed. Easy enough to drive for my girlfriend.
I was never a fan of the new hi tech/paddle/screen mode/computer dominated cars. But after that drive I will be graduating. Car is totally different to a 991 or even more so 997 GT3 RS. But it is suppose to be. Have to have both.
If you haven't driven one you need to. I never thought I would feel comfortable in anything but a P car. This car changed my mind.
Thanks again CJ.
