C.J.--Really love your writing style--it's as raw and on the edge as the ride you describe. Really awesome!

Great review, really good to hear you use it as intended! There is a white one calling my name at a nearby dealer. Did you have any issues with overheating on track? A few of the guys I talked to with Viper TA 1.0s/2.0s were having problems at COTA.

Z06 seems to overheat a lot from what I have heard. The viper has a lot more vents and evacuation channels for hot engine air but is hard on the front tires. i am working on a setup solution for it this week.

Cool review. You've got a very open attitude towards owning a wide range of cars, and it makes for a very unbiased and interesting perspective. I enjoyed reading that. Thanks!

Ok great. All the guys who come up to me and ask why I'm tracking a 997rs I'll show them this. I can't wrestle a 3.6 definitely not ***** enough to wrestle that act beast! Look forward to seeing it out on track around here. Cool write up! What do pads cost on a 675? :-)

CJ great review. Thank you for your candid and unbiased approach. I'm also hoping that Porsche see's this. The madness surrounding the 991 GT3RS is just crazy, so it's nice to see that you can get a car that is more visceral and will out perform the 991 3RS for less than half the cost when taking into consideration the extreme markups. It's also great to see this car going to people like yourself who will use it rather than just bubble wrap them and never use them for their intended purposes like the 991 3RS, with a few exceptions like Trakcar. Thanks again for your review!

Love the new Viper. (i am a sucker for them as i own a 2005 viper)
Great write up and good to see it is as bad *** at it looks.
Interesting to see how you placed the 997 series in such high regard, especially coming from so many other super cars.
I cannot deny my love for my 997RS. I feel the same way about them.

Thanks CJ. Great read. Loved new Viper when it came out. ACR always intrigued me.
- agreed with your 991RS comment
- love the options with 991 RS$; agreed again
Could you tell us about the shifting? I miss the 7.2 RS most from the connectivity/gearbox/heal-toe downshift aspects. Does the Viper ACR make a fun weekend, backroad car?
