What is the story with this? There must be something wrong and can we trust those numbers?
3.3's are bringing more. This would be the lowest selling 3.6T in years and cars with 120+k miles needing all sorts of works have brought more. Can only assume if the numbers are correct that the owner purchased it back when no interest was shown otherwise he was a fool. Although selling it at no reserve was his first mistake.
I would buy as many as I could at that price evens with issues.
Yet 74rs's which are nothing special are bringing between 110k and 300k
I still can't get any info on the sale the Web hasn't posted pricing yet.
More like $225+. $175k is still a bargain unless it is total turd

Yup, a lot of car for the money. What are the chances this thing goes back up for sale in May or June for $175k?

And in an off color (the seats).....makes one wonder who's owned that car. And what else did they do?
(I like the exterior color, fwiw)

of 2014. They still have it on their website for $275k. On their site it has tan seats. The black seats just look odd. I would bet that the car really had the tan seats
from the factory and the COA is wrong (wouldn't be the first time). Then Luxsport seeing the COA had them redone believing the COA to be the absolute last word.

Looking at the tan seats and other interior parts in the pictures on the Lux website, its my opinion the miles are not accurate. Just a guess.
RS says it sold for $122,100. Either it didn't really sell there or it was shill bid? As has been said, unless the car is a real turd that's a very very cheap price.

I decided to put this on the market last night. Its a limited market on these and any feedback would be welcomed. Let me know what you think.

Nice car, but the price puts it in the 993TT range.
My Indy saw me admiring one he was working on in his shop and said "You don't want one of these because it is a lot harder to get parts for a 964TT and some of the parts just don't exisit."

IIRC there were more 993TT's imported to the US than all of the 3.3 and 3.6L's combined. Finding used parts is not always as easy but I always used new if I can.
BTW you know of any 993TT's in good condition selling for $89k? I would be interested if you do.
Also $89k for a decent 3.3 with relatively fresh engine (assuming its done right) is a great price. But no doubt this needs to be scrutinized by someone who knows these cars well otherwise it could be a nightmare.

And if your Indy is telling you that the parts don't exist, he is not looking in the right places. I've owned mine for 11 yrs & have never had a problem replacing anything I've needed.
As Cobalt said, there are only maybe 1 or 2 parts that are hard to find,.. and the chances of those failing have not been high. Certainly not a good reason to prevent buying one, especially if you can find one for less than $100k.
