Hope that helps.

Love the look of Cup wheels on a 964. That said, I think RSR finish in a 17 Fuchs wheel on a L908 targa would be killer !

Yes sir !

The Design 90 / D90 (which is short for Dreaded 90) wheels are coming off for some Cup 1 wheels. The Fuchs is probably an option once I recover from up-gradeItis.

Bob,
What's the going rate for a set of the 17 Fuchs and what are the widths?

The widths for the narrow body cars are either 7.5 or 8 for the front, based on spring diameter, and 9 for the rear. Price is dependent on finish, here is the link to the 964 fitment order page with much more info including pricing.

...and let me know if you find a cure for that disease, up-gradeItis, it sounds bad.

$4280 for the classic finish...ooooff, as Batman would say. I would get excited if I could get them shipped to my door in California for $4000 even.

I was wondering what the 2.25 inch spring/8 inch rim deal was. I've got new purple H&R lowering Sport Springs...I'll have to see if they're 2.25 inches or not...

Anybody have real-time experience to dictate the differences between a 7.5 inch wheel and a 8 inch wheel, especially vis-a-vis understeer/oversteer tendencies? Tramlining?

All depends on tyre contact patch. On 7.5 & 8J your looking at 225 imo.
