Default 924S racecar project with pics

Got this car home yesterday. It came along with a 968 I bought in Kentucky. It is a 1987 and has 92,640 miles on it. The rear pieces have not been attached and the front bumper needs some extra mounts worked up. I started the car today - fired right up and I drove it around the block. Hoping someone would like to finish this project up - asking $2k for it - that is less than what just the fiberglass would be new from GT Racing.

GT front spoiler bumper- $480
944 turbo wide body front fenders - $580
944/924 rear bumper - $290
LeMans rear spoiler - $435
944 LeMans rear quarter fender flares - $445

I'm envious, your temperature slider works. Mine sticks half way. So warm

that's a really clean car..despite the tacky wide body parts. looks like it has a nice service history to go along with it as well!

im not sure the wide body parts are "tacky"- maybe out of place on that car though. It was a very clean car to start and i asked him if he just wanted to put this stuff on the 968 but he wanted to cut the 924s up. The nose pan was actually for a car of mine but he wanted it so i sold it to him. It had a set of wide 15" wheels for the car but who knows where those went. Funds ran out and i sent the car back to him they way it sits basically without the crashed front end.

Doesn't look or sound to bad. Congrats. You got two decent cars there on one deal. Great job, hopefully someone will finish this.

Haha coooool. I would love to buy this thing. And I totally would if I didn't have 2 blown headgaskets to fix this month.
But I think the body pieces and the car as well have great potential! I have the same rear spoiler on my black 951 and it has the same problem with the sides not wanting to stay attached.

Here are some pics of the 968. I've already fixed a bunch of stuff on it including the driver's door handle...
