A quick peak at his post history makes me think the story continues over in Turbo:

The shop said the leak was coming from a front seal- 1,500 job. It's coming from the o-ring behind the pulley which requires me to split the cases- 10K job. Big difference.
I know people can miss things but my mechanic saw the issue very quickly, along with the JB Weld. Mis-diagnosis from the original PPI.

Not that you could go back when buying a used car regardless. Most have no warranties implied or otherwise.

I actually did get a little compensation from the dealer and the shop that did the PPI gave me a full refund for the PPI. It was a small fraction of what the rebuild cost, however. But, onward and upward, lessons learned, etc.... The car runs awesome and I'm happy with it.

Glad you made it through and are happy with the car. Nothing worse than seeing someone get burned on the buying and repairing and then dump the car like a bad first date. The car will reward you ten fold for your effort.

Yeah nothing like a bad taste at the start that puts you off the brand forever.
Glad you were able to look past it and are enjoying the car now
