Default She's home....

She's finally back home after having a full engine rebuild. It runs like a dream. While we were in there we addressed a lot of little things like old engine bay sound pad, shoddy wiring, old heat barrier, etc. I also removed the center oil cooler so I could return to the stock front valance.

The only items left on my list are minor things- needs a stereo of some sort and a paint correction. Now I think I'll go out for a nice cruise in the hill country. These cars are a blast.

Congrats on getting her back! I know it's been awhile and I can only imagine how hard it's been not having her with the beautiful days we've been having lately. Enjoy that hill country ride!

Out of curiosity, what are your engine break-in instructions from the builder?

Great question...AND what engine oil did they ask you to run? Synthetic or dinasour?

And congratulations.

TPWS, in Austin, did the rebuild. They basically said to 'take it easy' for 1K miles so I'm keeping it below 5K rpm or so. I'm running dinosaur oil for sure. They used swepco.

Looks perfect. Are you looking to sell the center oil cooler?

Thanks. I already sold the center oil cooler. I do have two different front valances for a center oil cooler set up if you're interested, though.
