Scruffy Wrapped 911 GT3 RS Flashes Its Flat-Six Without Opening the Boot

The newest fad in wrapping cars is making a vehicle look like it’s been through serious stuff and survived. Some look like The Walking Dead‘s Rick after a gang of walkers tried and sadly failed to kill Carl, some look like they’ve been left to rot in an old barn, and some look like they tried to drive in an Atlanta twin-inch snow storm. Rust, dirt, and faux-crushed metal are the new fake bullet holes. But some of them still look pretty cool.

Images of this Porsche 911 GT3 RS come from Team Interceptor 66 from the most generically named car rally of all time, The Challenge 2016. Interceptor’s main vehicle is a SWAT-garbed Mustang GT350, but another vehicle that was running with them is this Porsche that has been wrapped with rally stripes, rust, and a rear “cutout” that shows off the car’s flat-six engine.

It’s a cool twist on the ever-evolving possibilities of wraps, and we’re sure this type of thing will start to pop up all over the place before long.
