It happens to the best of us. Nails and other kinds of road debris do not play favorites when it comes to puncturing rubber, that’s why it’s always smart to know how to fix your Porsche’s flat tire.

There are only two types of people in this world. Ones that have dealt with flat tires, and ones that will one day deal with flat tires, there’s no running away from them. Being a high-end brand, Porsche obviously offers various roadside assistance programs for their customers, but these may sometimes be temporary, and have relatively high membership costs to maintain once complimentary periods end.

This YouTube video by Porsche Southpoint, shows us the basic principles on how to use a 911’s included air compressor and tire sealant to fix a flat tire. This video applies to recent Porsche 997 and 991 generations, and keep in mind the process may be different for any Porsche depending on configuration and included equipment.

Do you have any other “fix-a-flat” rules of thumb?
