Default Victor Wheels

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm considering the Victor ZHEN wheels for my Boxster S and was wondering if anyone has experience with this brand. http://www.victorequipmentwheels.com/

Thanks,
Bob

Check the Canadian forum.
There's a set for sale with tires at a great price!
They were on his Boxster.

Hi Bob - I have Victor Turismo's for sale that I used on my Boxster-S

https://rennlist.com/forums/987-foru...for-987-s.html

I used them as street wheels and DE's in rain. No issues. These wheels are in great shape if you are interested. But I see you are more interested in the Zhen model.

Thanks, but as you noted I'm looking at the zhen model. BTW, did you like the Hankook tires?

The Hankooks were fine tires on the street and I did use them at one DE in the rain and they were good there as well. For the price, I was very happy.

which, the wheels or tires. So far I have only read positive reviews on the Hankook tires. Please explain.

It's confusing where people get the idea that Victor Equipment wheels are heavy and only receive negative feedback from owners.

I've posted this before.... here's the real scoop on track setups comparing the actual weight of my Victor Equipment to my stock Porsche GT3 wheels.

I've used my Victor Equip wheels for 3 track seasons without a single issue, and am about to begin my 4th season.

This is a fantastic deal acadian_dad is offering to anyone with a Boxster or Cayman considering a second set of wheels and tires for track use, or hell... even custom-look street use..

I think the wheels and tires are great - I was responding to what I hope was a somewhat tongue-in-cheek negative comment from Ilko ... I'd be moving them on to my 911-S but they aren't the right size.

It's a Cayman, but I'm very happy with the results. 19x8 & 19x9.5
Fronts weighed in at about 27 pounds, haven't weighed rears yet.

Hankook V12's as well!

do you think the offset sets them out a little from stock or exactly the same?

stock fronts were 18x8 - 57 - I had 7 mm spacers on the stocks. These are 19x8 45 (only offset available), and the fitment is flush with the fender without spacers.

For the rears, they have 19x9.5 with 49 offset. I used the 14mm spacers, and it looks great, could maybe use another 5 mm for complete flush for the top of the tire.

for the 911's, you could go for the 19x11 wheels with I think a 33 offset. That would have allowed me to not use spacers, but I didn't want 275's on an 11 inch wide wheel. I think you guys have wider tires, so the 19x11's should work well. I wouldn't need spacers if I went with the 19x11

You can use stock lugs as well!
