Damon,

I guess there wasn't an affirmative on the OZs?

How about the HTRZIIIs?

I just saw these wheels on a friend's GR 993 in black. Wow.

Will these wheels hold up to track abuse and regular street driving? They're not forged but the price is reasonable....

Well, here's the answer to my question. Yes, they will work fine on the track. OZ responded to an email I sent yesterday and said that they are designed for track use.

However, I was at my shop today and as luck would have it... There was a 996 GT3 with a set on there. And he's quite the track monkey. So far, they're working out great!

Good news, you might want to post this same thing over on my 993 thread, seems like several people wanted to know. Paul

I don't get over there much. If you happen to see a post, cross link it over to this one.

You posted 8 times on that 993 thread, primarily questioning the track-worthiness of the Alleggeritas. I just thought you would want to share the same info you did here, especially the email from OZ saying they were designed for the track. My original post had nothing to do with racing or the track, I was just showing everyone what they looked like in black!

My bad. I thought I was in the wheel section. I was following the wheel, not the forum it was in.

I have a 1/4 inch yellow rim stripe on the way, as well as 4 lug bolts to replace those annoying locks and some black lug caps to cover the factory bolts.

Should look great!

The tires are a little scary looking. There's pretty much no tread! Are the MPSC's directional? I know they have an"outside", but can they be swapped side to side and reverse the direction to extend the wear?

Never mind on that tread question. I think I answered it myself and the answer is obviously no
