Damon, will the 18X12's fit the rears w/o any spacers?
On the website it doesn't state an offset for these.

I'm also thinking about a set of these as track wheels.

I have to say that navigating around the TireRack site now with the Search by vehicle only seems to be a real headache. I want to go and check out the wheels and sizes and offsets at my leisure, but you have to put in a car and if the data doesn't think you should have this on your car, bad luck. You can't check out all the variations. Some of us have modified cars that non stock sizes will fit but you can't look on the site for larger sizes. Frustrating. I like this wheel and it's a great price but I cracked my Enkies and this is meant to be not as strong as them. To be fair I give the gators a bit of a pounding so maybe any wheel would crack. I'd still consider buying these though...

Which Enkei, NT03's? Where did the wheel break?

Yes, the NT03's. Hmm, it's been a while since it happened. I run 10" all round so I can't even remember if it was on the front or rear. The inside lip on the Rim cracked. I might try and get some pics, but I don't have the wheels nearby. Also, I would still buy them again as I think it's possible that any wheel might crack on this particular track / gators that I believe it happened on.

Let me catch up a bit!

The black OZ carbon fiber caps have come in and I can ship with either, just specify when ordering. They will not take an OE Porsche cap.

The system is set up by YMM on purpose. Can you imagine the nightmare it would be for us if we let everyone order by width and offset? I'm getting cold sweats over here! That's why I am here, you are always welcome to call me.

On the website it doesn't state an offset for these.
18 x 12 wheels are shipping with either a 68 or 51mm offset.

The Alleggerita's are great looking wheels. I'm thinking about them for a track only wheel for a 996 GT3. Curious to know how they stand up to long term track abuse. Appreciate any info any Alleggerita owner could provide.
Let me crosslink you guys THIS link from 6speed. Lots of information there, and track feedback is starting to come in on them.

Here's a catch-up on pictures I have been getting from buyers and/or found on the web. Sorry if any duplicates:

Thanks Damon.

Yeah, I know my wheels are not the the Allegerita, the purpose of my post was to address questions of contrast. Hence my post.

Gotta agree that the navigation by "your vehicle" can be a pain. It should be the primary navigation mode for the 99% of people that don't have a clue (and don't want to be bothered) with what may or may not fit with the right suspension, camber, etc. For the rest of us, though, it would be nice to search by all wheel sizes available. Just ordered a set for my 964, though...I'll post pictures once they are mounted up!

I have them in stock in Anthricite, dark silver, and black. The brighter colors are special order.

Hi Damon,

do the matt graphite silver actually look silver at all...? they look very dark on the tire rack website...

I have a silver 996 and don't know if anthracite of the matt graphite silver would be a better match...

thx

I understand they are a bit hard to get a good comparison with. Camera flashes make it hard. I set an anthracite wheel next to a matte graphite grey wheel and took a few pictures. You can see the matte wheels are in fact quite a bit darker.

by the way... do they all come standard with the carbon fibre wheel cap... if I recall correctly this wasn't the case a while ago... it was a different cap.... the carbon fibre cap looks hot!
