If it's not too far out try Napa Auto Spa. I had them do Ceramic on my Macan and they did a great job.

Fremont is 52 miles away from Southern Marin. I wish Premier or OCD would set up an outpost in the North Bay...Any other reccos in the North Bay?

I recommend Carzwerk. They did a great job. Fantastic eye for detail and best customer service around (and I've used other shops in the past). I'll post a more in-depth review once I go back for my one-month follow up.

I’m interested in finding a PPF installer in the North Bay (i.e., Marin County maybe Sonoma County) as well. Fremont is East Bay and quite a distance.

Also just had my white GT3 done at Premier. Excellent work.

Good things take time, and this is very much worth it.

Curious if others have had a full PPF done by OCDetailing and can share their experience. Eager to hear about their attention to detail particularly around tougher curves such as 992 GT3 hood and duck tail, as an example. Premier does a lot of youtube videos so I have a good sense of their work and was looking to learn how OCD work compares. Thank you.

OCD's wrap itself was good. But they damaged one of my wheels on a brand new, delivered-off-the-truck GT3 and never made it right. They offered to have that one wheel powder coated, which would have left the other three not matching. Wasn't acceptable to me. Premier's wrap job on my RS was also good. But I had a bunch of issues with them regarding other things and I wouldn't go back to them. I've had the best experience with Carzwerk/Mykos. I would go back to them for sure.

‘Thanks for the feedback as I do notice Premier has very aggressive marketing all over the forums and internet ..

Thanks for the Carzwerk/Mykos lead. Will check them out and pay a visit to their shop to get a feel of their work over next couple of weeks.
Any other OCD experiences are welcome as I make this decision.

I've been going to Premier since 2007. With other options out there I wouldn't keep going back if they weren't good.

They're currently working on my 4RS.

Make sure you examine and see samples of the shops work.

The below pic was done by a local shop. When the owner complained about the bad cuts they responded that it was "within spec".

I was chatting a detailer and we agreed that there is such a wide range of what people think is a good install. Some are OK with the film not being tucked and some aren't. I, for one, do NOT think the below cuts are acceptable.

You couldn't pay me to go back to premier after how they treated me. Never again.

I was intimately consulted on the work pictured by the owner of the 718, and can tell you the work was remedied by that vendor and customer was happy

everyone has an off day, and the reputable and professional shops ultimately do the right thing once client expresses a disconnect

with that said, premiere’s quality and reputation is second to none, and price is in line with the quality of work you’re getting

more importantly, they’ve been doing ppf much longer than almost any shop in the country…I know because they were who I used when I was detailing and didn’t offer ppf service in early 2000s

as many have mentioned, take the time to seek out those that have the experience and knowledge…it’ll pay dividends for years to come and for most our clients, it’s all about the relationship…not the lowest price or quickest turn-around

hope that helps
