Thanks for the kind words. Customer feedback is always great to hear.
My GT4 came with a little over $5,000 of wrap from Premier in Fremont.
Full hood, full front fenders, front bumper, lights, mirrors, full doors rocket panels and scoop, door cups, and rear inner arches.
The "Liquid Gloss Factor" of the ClearGuard NANO is the highest of any PPF on the market.
And yes, the work done is impeccable!

With Paint Protection Film, installation experience and know-how is the key determining factor to how the film ultimately looks. The PPF industry is one that is very saturated with new installers popping up every day. We've been specializing in 100% custom installations for over 20 years now, so needless to say, there is no lack for experience. When searching for a PPF company, there are several factors we always tell customers to consider:
1. Custom vs. Pre-cut kits.
Our installations are 100% custom. We do not use pre-cut kits or so called "customized" kits which some try to pass off as true custom. Here is an example of both: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-turb...d-coating.html
Pre-cut kits often comes in multiple pieces, similar to a puzzle. They are made for the installer and not the consumer. This is because Pre-cut kits are easier to install. True Custom installations, on the other hand, takes many years to learn, and many more to perfect. Hence most companies are installing Pre-cuts kits. In many cases, we've even seen competitors try to pass customized kits as "true custom" installs. Even though pre-cut kits claim to wrap, it still falls short in terms of aesthetics if you are a detail oriented car owner.
2. Experience
The experience of the installers doing the work will make or break an installation. As mentioned before, companies like Xpel are pumping out new installers by the day. One major downfall in this industry is that there are very few companies that actually have the PPF installation experience that they claim. Many are Detailers by trade that have picked up the craft in the past 2 years....but they will claim their experience by how long they've been in the auto industry, and not how long they've been installing PPF. In the end, this only hurts the consumers. We've seen way too many Cars that end up with bad installs, and many times razor cuts in the paint.
3. Go See the Work in Person
The best determining factor to whether a company will satisfy your needs as a consumer is by visiting the shops and comparing the work. There will always be consumers plugging different companies, but the best thing to do is see the work in person. Check for film distortions, edge gaps, uneven seams, dimples, stretch marks, joining seams, Orange Peel texture of the film, ect.......to name a few. Everyone have different standards, and you may have "better eyes" than the next guy. By being able to see the work up close, you will be able to compare companies and see whether they meet your standards.
4. Dealership Work vs Independent Shops
One of the most common thing we hear is how our work compare to the dealership. We've been doing this for over 20 years, so this is our opinion from experience. Most dealerships tend to have high turn over rates with the guys in finance. So the loyalty relationship between dealership and Installation company are often very delicate. In general, dealerships are looking for the best margin with the products they sell. This is no different when it comes to a service like Clear Bra installations. The guys that give the Dealerships the best margin are typically the newest guys that are trying to make way in the industry. Needless to say, we've had plenty of "re-dos" from these same companies...independent shop and dealerships alike....

My GT4 came with a full Xpel wrap from Golden State. It is a pre-cut installation which is somewhat disappointing to me (you see edges at all panel edges and badges). But, the installation looks good, no distortion that I’ve noticed. The previous owner paid $5,500 as I recall.

Reviving Thread - Does anyone have any pics of OC Detailing work on the front bumper? I am looking for an installer for my 2011 997.2 RS and Premier can't see me until after the Werks Reunion. I know they remove the front bumper but I don't think OC Detail does.
Thanks!
Thanks!

We actually do not remove the front bumper to achieve the results we attain. Here is what our custom application looks like:

I ended up going to MUM Sports in Fremont.
They came highly recommended by a buddy of mine. They did an amazing job on his car, so I was definitely curious.
After looking at their pictures and reviews on Yelp, IG and their site www.mumsports.com, I decided to go with them.
Excellent quality work and reasonable prices.
